DUAL ANSER LED

When we were approached to design a microscope light with two adjustable arms we immediately went to work adapting our ANSER series for this application. The results were better that even we imagined and a we knew it would be a great light for many other applications such as hobby and crafts and macro-photography.

The two 3-Watt LED lights can be positioned to illuminate objects from two different angles eliminating shadows and the light quality and output remains consistent no matter how long the light is in use. The compact, low profile LED head is easy to position without intruding into your work space.

Sometime two heads ARE better than one!

The LED Era

The growing acceptance of LED lights opens up a lot of new possibilities for manufacturers like Littlite. LED technology has advanced at a rapid rate enabling us to respond to some pretty specific task lighting requests including lighting compatible with night vision optics, infra-red lighting and, now, ultraviolet lighting.

Our custom UV-LED lights can be used to verify security watermarks in currency, driver’s license and other forms of I.D. Most of our UV-LED configurations also toggle between UV and a white light output enabling them to multi-task between a security check light and an ordinary task light . . . perfect for hospitality industry applications.

Littlite LED Task Lights . . . a lot of performance in a small package.

How to Choose The Best Bedside Light!

Do you like to read before bed?

Is your existing lighting not focused or bright enough to see the pages?

Would you like to be able to change your position and have your lighting change with you?

Choosing good bedside lighting is a lot more complex than some people realize! You can buy any old bedside light and throw it on your nightstand, but you may discover that it’s not bright enough, that the light shines in your eyes and not on the page, or that it’s too tall to reach comfortably from your bed. There are a few fundamentals to keep in mind that will ensure your bedside light is perfect for your reading needs.

Size of the light

Think about how you sit or lie in your bed. You don’t want to have to stretch to reach the switch for your lamp, especially since you’ll be reaching for it every night! If your bedside light is too tall, the light will be hitting your eyes, and could strain your eyes. If it’s too short, the light won’t be where you need it.

The exact positioning and size of your lamp will depend on the layout of your bedroom, but here are some good rules of thumb. A light switch should be about 21 to 30 inches off the floor, and about an arm’s length away from the bed. Your lamp should be no bigger than ⅓ the size of the table you put it on to prevent it from being unstable. Our Gooseneck lights are perfect here because of way they mount, clipping to your night stand and preventing your light from falling over!

Color of light

Bedside light with base.

Some people complain about the glaring, piercing quality of white light, which can be helpful for detail work but can be irritating right before bed. You may find that a soft red or pink light provides the light and mood you’re looking for. On the other hand, the bright quality of white light may be perfect for rooting around in a bedside drawer or bin. Take some time to think about the kinds of light you may want, or contact us to ask about your options!

Design of your light

Don’t forget about the rest of your room when picking out your bedside light! If you have a large bed, a very small lamp may look out of place next to it. Before making a purchase, be sure to think about cost, utility, and design.

Littlite bedside lights make the perfect addition to any bedroom. With a long, adjustable gooseneck, dimmer controls, and LED or halogen lights in red or white light, you’re sure to find what you need. Browse our store or custom build a light to your exact specifications!

Littlite Sponsors Hartland Boy Scout Troop 381 in Annual Fundraiser

The Hartland Boys Scout Troop 381 hosted 108 golfers at Hawk Meadows Golf Course in Howell, MI, on September 27, 2015, for their 5th Annual Golf Fundraiser. Littlite LLC. was a proud sponsor of the event.

The fundraiser was open to the public to play 18 holes, with all proceeds going to the local troop. This annual fundraiser helped raise funds for camping fees and new equipment for the boy scouts. The day was especially beautiful for late September in Michigan. Littlite, LLC. employees John Parzuchowski, Jamie Devine, Ryan Bowman and Rick Niles teamed up to represent Littlite.

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

Thank you to all for supporting Boy Scouts and helping to build moral leaders in our youth!

Littlite Proudly Supports Boy Scouts!

The owners of Littlite, Jim and Rhonda Fackert, are avid supporters of the Boy Scouts of America, often donating to their local council. John Parzuchowski, a Littlite employee and proud boy scout father, also works to help his local community through helping the Boy Scouts. John is the Charter Organization Representative for Hartland Boy Scout Troop 381.

His son Jack is in his final stages as an Eagle Scout candidate. For his final Eagle Scout project, Jack designed and built a concrete launch pad for model rockets near the small airfield at Manly W. Bennett Memorial Park in Hamburg Township, where the Hamburg Flyers Radio Control Club meets to fly model airplanes.

"It is supposed to be monitored by the club for safety and insurance, even though it's on township-owned land," Parzuchowski said. Safety is a major concern, so Jack needed to get approval from Hamburg Flyers President Eugene Doncea and present the idea to township officials for questions and answers.

John says, "Jim and Rhonda's support through Littlite LLC. has helped me understand the true value of Corporate Stewardship.  We may be a small business, but we help the community in large ways. Today I am very proud!"

In Case of Emergencies, Small LED Lights Come in Handy!

Do you worry about your car having a flat tire in the middle of the night?

How are you going to change the flat correctly without any light?

Only some freeways and main roads have street lights, even then they don’t always properly light the road. You’ll still need some kind of tool just in case something like this happens.

A small LED light from Littlite can be clipped, clamped or mounted wherever you need it. This type of light is perfect for auto repairs, map reading, and even camping!

Our small LED lights can be useful in many different areas such as:

1.    Police
2.    Fire
3.    EMT
4.    Rally vehicles
5.    Municipal and service trucks
6.    Marine freighters
7.    Trains
8.    Flight simulators
9.    Personal aircraft

Do you work in any of these areas where you’d find small led lights particularly helpful? Imagine working with ease as you lessen the strain on your eyes from the harsh lighting you’re used to.
