Jurassic Park, MI

In Michigan, this is the turtle time of the year. It’s not uncommon to see many Blanding’s turtles, spiny soft-shell turtles, box turtles and, my favorite, the common snapping turtle. Some of us here at Littlite “ahem” have been known to show up a little late after stopping on their way into work and scooting a wayward turtle or two out of harms way.

This critter decided to visit us in our parking lot this afternoon and will probably be ambling off to the wetlands out back soon.
